In 2010 I decided to move away from being yet another rod builder simply building on generic blanks to produce a rod no different to many others apart from the logo and the components. I wanted to offer customers a British made product as good as anything in the world and totally exclusive to AtomSix. After many months of testing on my part and decades of experience of my production facilities, the blanks are now in production and I'm extremely happy with them.

No other trout rod in the world currently uses all these technologies. What they produce is one of the most advanced blanks available. The result is a fly rod with awesome recovery rates due to the resistance of the blank to ovaling under strain, the superior structure of the carbon at molecular level from autoclave curing and an incredible increase in strength that comes from the resin reinforcement system being used to its optimum.
